In this guide, we will dive deep into essential tweaks, settings, and optimization techniques to maximize your Rust performance on Windows 10 and 11.

Step 1: Disable Full-Screen Optimization

Disabling full-screen optimization forces Rust to run in exclusive full-screen mode, reducing input lag and increasing FPS.

How to Disable Full-Screen Optimization:

  1. Right-click on Rust’s .exe file (RustClient.exe).
