When it comes to transferring money from Mobile money to Paypal, you have to use Apps. Direct transfers from Mobile Money to PayPal are not a standard feature. When transferring or depositing money into your PayPal, you don’t necessarily need to push money there, you just need to Link a virtual card which works with mobile money. Linking a virtual card generated by App into your paypal account means the money on card is now available in PayPal account
Most people think to be able to pay with PayPal, money has to be showing in your PayPal account, No this is not true, To pay with PayPal, you just need to link a virtual card which is connected with your mobile money to be able to transfer funds from there to PayPal. In-fact in some countries restricted by PayPal, Depositing is not possible , just link your mobile money wallet virtual card which was generated by PayPal and that’s is, PayPal will be funded by that card automatically.
Mobile money is common in most African countries and these Apps will bridge the Gap between your mobile money and the Paypal since Paypal mostly works with Cards
This is how the procedure works for transferring or depositing into your PayPal using Mobile money
Step 1: Choose and Install between Chippercash or Eversend (Note: these apps might not work in all countries, you might have to find another alternative incase these are not active in your country)
Step 2: After installing and verifying you identity on Chipper cash, Click Card on bottom and go through the procedure of creating virtual card
Step 3: After card is generated, Click Add Cash, to transfer funds from your Mobile money to Chipper cash
Step 3: on Bottom of Chipper cash App, Click Card again
Step 4: Click Top Up and transfer Funds inside App onto Card
Step 5: Then link that card onto Paypal and start paying with Paypal
